Mesha Malcolm · Doula
Meet your doula

Care that feels personal from the very first conversation.

I’m Mesha Malcolm, a birth and postpartum doula devoted to helping mothers and families feel heard, supported, and prepared. I bring a calm, compassionate presence to the journey—whether you are planning for labor, welcoming your baby by cesarean, learning newborn rhythms, or simply needing space to rest and recover.

My role is non-medical. I provide emotional, physical, informational, and practical support while respecting your voice, your family, and the care of your medical team.

“Every family deserves to enter this new chapter with support that is steady, informed, and beautifully human.”

Common questions

Clarity before your care begins.

What does a doula do?

A doula offers non-medical emotional, physical, informational, and practical support. I do not diagnose conditions, perform procedures, administer medication, or make medical decisions.

Do you support cesarean births?

Yes. Support can include preparation, calm advocacy, comfort measures when permitted, partner support, and help with the immediate postpartum and newborn transition.

When does birth on-call support begin?

Birth packages include on-call availability beginning at 37 weeks, along with phone and text support according to your agreement.

Can postpartum support include overnight care?

Yes. Overnight care is available when included in your selected package or booked at the applicable à la carte rate.

Is the retainer refundable?

The retainer reserves your availability and is non-refundable. Payment timing and all service details are confirmed in your signed agreement.
